Laila Farhat is a Managing Partner at GMR’s Austria office, leading the European service offering. She specializes in departmental management and C-suite appointments across diverse global markets, with expertise in talent strategy, leadership development, and organizational growth. 

Laila advises clients on executive search, succession planning, and leadership assessments, helping businesses navigate multi-market complexities and build sustainable leadership pipelines. She is experienced at sourcing talent in high-potential, fast-changing markets.  

Prior to joining GMR, Laila held senior talent acquisition roles across the Middle East at Schneider Electric and TAQA, where she gained deep expertise in strategic recruitment, talent retention, and corporate leadership. She has devised and delivered customized hiring strategies and has a strong track record fulfilling difficult mandates.
